1boxbrownie mix (plus required eggs, oil, and water as specified on the box)
1cupgraham cracker crumbs
1/2cupunsalted butter, melted
1cupmini marshmallows
1cupmilk chocolate chips
1/2teaspoonvanilla extract
a pinchsalt
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a 9x13 inch baking pan by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper, allowing some overhang to aid in easy removal later.
In a mixing bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs with the melted butter. Stir until the crackers are evenly coated with butter. Firmly press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking pan, ensuring it forms a compact and even layer for your crust.
In a separate bowl, prepare the brownie mix as per the package instructions. Enhance the flavor by adding the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Once mixed, pour the brownie batter carefully over the graham cracker crust, spreading it out evenly.
Bake the brownie layer in the preheated oven for approximately 20-25 minutes. To check for doneness, insert a toothpick into the center— it should come out with a few moist crumbs (not completely clean indicates perfect fudginess).
As soon as you remove the brownies from the oven, generously sprinkle the milk chocolate chips and mini marshmallows over the hot brownie layer.
Return the pan to the oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, watching closely until the marshmallows are puffed and have taken on a light golden color.
Allow the S’mores brownie bars to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then carefully move them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once fully cooled, use the parchment overhang to lift the brownies out of the pan. Cut them into squares or bars to serve.
Notes
For an extra touch, drizzle chocolate sauce over the top and top with additional mini marshmallows.
