Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Carefully slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally, keeping the top and bottom halves connected.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard until smooth. Spread this mixture over the cut side of the bottom halves of the rolls.
Layer the sliced turkey or chicken over the mayo spread, followed by a layer of Swiss cheese.
Place the tops of the rolls back over the cheese to create a complete sandwich.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted unsalted butter, poppy seeds, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
Pour the butter mixture evenly over the top of the assembled sandwich rolls.
Cover the sandwiches with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Slice the sandwiches into individual pieces for easy serving.
