Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, combine melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add vanilla extract and eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and sea salt.
Gradually fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until no visible streaks of flour remain.
Gently stir in the semi-sweet chocolate chips.
In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and orange zest, blending until fluffy.
Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and dollop cream cheese mixture on top, swirling gently.
Pour the remaining brownie batter over the cream cheese layer and create a marble pattern with a toothpick.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out mostly clean.
Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes, then lift out using parchment and cool completely on a wire rack.
Before serving, sprinkle with Halloween-themed sprinkles.
Notes
For spooky appeal, serve the brownies on a chilling-themed platter with festive decorations.
