Instructions
In a medium saucepan, heat the water over medium heat until it comes to a gentle boil.
Once the water is boiling, remove it from the heat and add the green tea bags. Let them steep for about 3 minutes to extract the flavor. After steeping, carefully remove the tea bags and discard them.
Introduce the herbal tea bags into the pot, allowing them to steep for an additional 5 minutes to create a soothing blend. Remove the tea bags once steeped.
Add the honey to the warm tea mixture, stirring until it is fully dissolved, creating a sweet base for your drink.
Pour in the freshly squeezed lemon juice, and if you opt for more complexity, add the grated ginger. Stir everything well to ensure all the flavors meld beautifully.
Sample the tea and, if you’d like it a bit sweeter, add more honey to your taste preference.
Pour the fragrant tea into your favorite mugs, and adorn each cup with a slice of lemon on the rim for a delightful presentation.
